Christian Fellowship Churches Worldwide is the result of an unlikely group of ordinary men touched by the finger of God that spread like the fire of world revival across the globe…

 

In 1970, Pastor Wayman Mitchell (pictured) went to the small town of Prescott, Arizona. Through the Word of God, he began to see a pattern for the New Testament church in raising up workers and planting churches. From there, a spiritual fire was launched that is spanning the globe. In a few short years, over 3,000 churches have been planted in more than 164 nations of the world. From that, crusades and conferences sprung up that are touching tens of thousands every year.

 

This church is a product of that vision and is working to see it expanded in the short time that remains before Jesus’ return. God has given us a vision for the day we live in. Our message is simple, yet it is the cornerstone of all truth. Jesus Christ is the only hope for man’s salvation and that is true with every person in every nation on the globe. In a world full of empty dreams and false promises is a truth which grows stronger every year and that is Jesus Christ and Him crucified!

OUR START...

Pastor Jeff O'Brien and his family arrived in Pittsburgh in August, 2011 and began the exciting and daunting task of pioneering a new church after pastoring 24 years at The Potter's House Christian Fellowship of Hanover, PA where he built a dynamic church with an amazing core of believers that is pursuing it's destiny in the Kingdom of God under new leadership.

In May of 2023 he answered the call again to pioneer a new church in another city. Trevor Coyne had been discipled, prepared, and was ordained then as the new Pastor of the church, continuing the vision of what has been imparted by the leaders before.
